Dear Friends of SJS,

Pacific Peoples Partnership is offering a couple of internships:

Pacific Peoples' Partnership is seeking two enthusiastic and self-motivated interns for the paid short term positions of: 1. Communications Intern and 2. Information Technology Intern. Main responsibilities of the positions include assisting with our communications, content development, website improvements, newsletter development, and technology suite maintenance, research and support.

To be eligible for this opportunity Interns must be between the ages of 15 through 30; plus a Canadian citizen legally entitled to work in BC and not in receipt of EI benefits. Additional details on the programs are attached.


The positions are ideally suited (but not limited) to students in IT and Communications Studies, First Nations Studies, Indigenous Governance, Environmental Studies, International Relations, Pacific and Asian Studies, Anthropology and International Communications. The internship positions would start on or about November 30th and carry through to early next spring for a... total of 500 hours at $10.75 plus MERCS (Mandatory Employee Related Costs).
