Steelhead LNG has recently been heavily promoting their proposed Malahat LNG project, which would process 900 million cubic feet of fracked natural gas per day and store it in a massive floating offshore facility at Bamberton. This project would also involve a pipeline and LNG tankers through the Saanich Inlet.
Join us Wednesday, December 9 @ 7:30 in the Shawnigan Lake Community Centre for a free panel discussion and town hall meeting to hear some alternate points of view. Speakers will discuss the overall need to divest from fossil fuel projects, specific concerns regarding this LNG project, and alternatives for the future.

Warmly,
Laurel
