Volunteer Action Meeting – Wednesday, January 27th
On Wednesday, January 27th at 5:30pm, come hear about our campaigner Torrance Coste’s experience as part of the Canadian Youth Delegation at the UN COP21 climate change conference in Paris. Plus, get an update on our efforts to Save the Walbran and find out ways that you can help us with this urgent campaign.
Since Torrance attended the Paris climate conference as a youth delegate last December, he’s got lots to share about the global negotiations to tackle the climate crisis. You’ll have a chance to learn about what the climate deal means for BC, and what the Wilderness Committee is doing to fight climate change.
At this month’s volunteer meeting, we'll also cover the latest developments in our red-hot campaign to save the Walbran Valley, and tell you how you can help protect this irreplaceable rainforest – including an exciting upcoming action that we are planning!
We host our regular Volunteer Action Nights on the last Wednesday of every month from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at our Victoria office (#202, 3 Fan Tan Alley). Snacks are provided.
Please RSVP on our Facebook event pager0
