On the steps of B.C. Supreme Court

NationBuilder r1 Paov --Rupi and Adam speak to the media

We have just finished the first day of the trial for Cambie Vs BC trial.

From what we heard today, Brian Day's lawyers are going to do all they can to convince the court that a two-tier system would benefit Canada.

But as an economist on CTV pointed out today, it is "Day [who] stands to 'benefit significantly' from privatized health care." [1] Evidence shows that the legal changes Day is suggesting would actually make wait times longer for most people, and many of us would not be able to afford care.

We're going to do all we can over the next 6 months to... represent the majority of Canadians who want to see health care remain there for all of us when we need it.

We got this far because of your support and we'll continue to keep you updated as the case goes forward.

Many thanks,
