Send YOUR letter to the editor

Dear Paov,

Did you know British Columbia is the bad boy on the block when it comes to species at risk?

Although we have the most biodiversity in Canada our government does very little to protect it and as a result we have 1,900+ species at risk in this province.

It’s long overdue for BC to get a provincial species at risk law. So how can you help?

Write a letter to the editor It’s widely known that politicians and voters alike read letters to the editor.

Because of this, letters to the editor have a lot of clout. Now, you can influence the policies of your next MLA and the votes of your community members by using our letter writing action tool.
We’ve made it super easy! Visit our awesome new Letter to the Editor page, which sends the letter you write to five local papers in just two easy steps using your postal code. You’ll be able to use our prepared writing points as well as your own words about why endangered species legislation matters to you.

Your voice is needed now more than ever in this crucial time for BC’s wildlife.

For grizzly bears, spotted owls and mountain caribou,
