Join us for the next FREE webinar of BCSEA's 2017 Webinar Series, “The Energy Step Code and Climate Leadership”, on September 29th from 12pm - 1pm PT.
This past spring, the Province of British Columbia enacted the BC Energy Step Code, a building performance regulation that charts a course to 2032, when all new construction in the province will be "net-zero-energy ready." By choosing to adopt one or more steps of the standard, local governments can steadily ratchet up requirements for building energy efficiency, helping both participating communities and the province meet energy conservation and greenhouse-gas-reduction goals. In... this webinar, we will explain how local governments will be using the BC Energy Step Code, and what the policy could mean for climate leadership. What is its potential and how can we maximize it? Join us to find out.
The webinar will consist of approximately 20 minutes presentation from three speakers, Zac May from the Province of BC, Dave Ramslie from Integral and Helen Goodland from Brantwood Consulting, followed by a Q&A session with attendees, facilitated by our webinar host James Glave.
