conference page. The deadline to register is October

We are at a remarkable moment for health care in
B.C.—there are some amazing opportunities to make big
strides toward better care, and there are also serious challenges to
our health and wellbeing.
The conference is a
one of a kind opportunity to connect with health care
activists from around B.C. to share ideas, build skills, and
strategize together for better health care for all.
We have an
exciting lineup of
speakers.
A few of our speakers include Jenny
Morgan, Director of Indigenous Health at BC Children's +
Women's Hospitals,... Elder Roberta Price from
the Snuneymuxw and Cowichan First Nations, and Dr. Steve
Morgan of the UBC Centre for Health Services and Policy
Research and an expert in pharmaceutical policy.
Click here to register for the BC Health Coalition
2017 Conference. You'll find information on travel and accommodation
subsidy, venue accessibility, and and payment

You wont want to miss important
workshop topics including culturally competent seniors
care, winning better access to care at a
community level, strengthening services for mental health and
addictions, and many other topics. For a fuller sneak peak of
speakers and workshops, click here.
We want to make sure everyone who wants to come can attend. We will
be providing travel and accommodation subsidies for folks who need it
and are coming from outside the Lower Mainland. Also, no one will be
turned away due to lack of funds. Registration fees based on a sliding
scale from no cost ($0) to $75.
Make sure you register before the October 20th
deadline. Click here for registration and subsidy
information.
All the best,
