Phone now to stop the Site C dam
Dear Paov,
Right now we're at a critical moment in the fight to save the beautiful Peace River Valley from being flooded behind that useless white elephant of a mega-boondoggle called the Site C dam project!
The tide of public opinion has turned against Site C with the vast majority of people telling the BC Utilities Commission at the recent series of public meetings to cancel the dam project immediately and for all time.
I have called for the dam project to be cancelled - and for workers, landowners and First Nations communities to be compensated for all the needless pain, suffering and expense caused by the former provincial government. Paov, I am asking you to weigh in by making a personal call to one of BC’s elected representatives. We have a fancy new program that will find your MLA, dial the number for you and then provide talking points for your call.
