The BC Utilities Commission Report to the BC Government came out November 1st and it endorses many of the arguments AGAINST SITE C Dam. The BC NDP government is making the decision on Site C Dam by the end of the year. The last day of the year the legislature sits is Nov. 30.

The MLAs represent us so tell them what future YOU want for Site C and the Peace River valley NOW!

Here is a document with details about the issues around Site C Dam that you can refer to from

Please take ACTION and help SAVE farmland in the Peace River valley!

PS On a personal note, I will be stepping down as a co-chair of FPC. I have enjoyed all the people I have met and worked with. However, I want to concentrate my limited volunteer time in the next year on campaigning for Yes to PR in the Nov. 2018 BC referendum. I believe changing to a Proportional Representative system (PR) for electing our MLAs will bring about the biggest change in BC making our government far more responsive to the needs and wishes of all people.

Farmland Protection Coalition,
Cheryl McLachlan co-chair
