Save Canada's wild wonders with us
Dear Paov,
The season of awe and wonder is upon us. It’s the season for animal tracks in the snow, the smell of evergreen boughs, ice-covered ponds and midnight skies shimmering with northern lights.
It's a wild season. Thank you for all you’ve done this past year to defend Canada’s wild.
I believe in the childlike wonder and awe that being in the presence of nature inspires in us. That’s why people like you and me take action to ensure this source of inspiration endures.
Donate here!Your support can keep us on the frontlines mapping habitat, monitoring industrial development threats, taking photos and producing videos to illustrate why we all must stand together to defend at-risk species.
Your donation means we’ll be closer to making these wins a reality:
-
Stopping the Site C dam - we await this decision any day now and are hopeful we are close to the day the dam goes away – forever.
-
Defending key endangered wildlife - we are on the ground this winter to document active logging in caribou and spotted owl habitat so we can protect these imperilled species.
-
Putting an end to new pipeline proposals - as the tide turns on fossil fuels and we look to a renewable energy future, we will be working to see the end of Kinder Morgan’s and Line 3’s pipeline proposals.
-
Saving the bees - We are in court fighting to change lax pesticide regulations in Canada and to ban bee-killing “neonics” permanently.
