Due to the abundance of events aligned with the mandate of the Indigenous Solidarity Working Group (a good problem to have!), we are shifting the organizing meeting to discuss next steps for the Trutch Street renaming initiative, keeping the same date, while shifting the time a bit earlier and the location to the UVic campus, to avoid a scheduling conflict with the lecture below.
So the meeting will now take place on:
Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 5:30pm at the University of Victoria, Student Union Building, Munchie Bar (next to Cinecenta and close to the bus loop).
We hope to see you on Wednesday!
We changed the meeting time to avoid conflicting with this event

Her talk Feburary 7th will look at the work to be done in bringing healing and reconciliation to Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities in the wake of the Residential School experience. Everyone welcome!
