Join our Interfaith Network for Justice in Palestine

Take Action!

When we think about the summer of 2014, one thing looms large: Israel’s brutal all-out assault on Gaza. But something else happened last summer -- something huge. Last June, the Presbyterian Church (USA) voted to divest from companies that profit from the Occupation -- and we were honored to stand by their side. That victory sent an incredible message -- that faith communities around the world won’t stay silent when Israel commits human rights violations.

Stand side-by-side with faith communities working for divestment - add your name to the Interfaith Network for Justice in Palestine

billboard continues

The CAIA Active Committee has reviewed the responses and effect of our billboard on Pat Bay Highway. We have received over 90 emails supporting the billboard and 2 persons criticising.

With the billboard added by some anonymous person or country in front of ours, we now have a noticeable lead in attracting more attention to our billboard. This has generated even more donations. We now only need $90 more in funds to cover additional time.

We thank all of you who have contributed to funding our ad campaign.

If you wish to donate now, please send funds to 'Coalition Against Israeli Apartheid' in care of

The book "Cuba Solidarity in Canada - Five Decades of People-to-People Foreign Relations", is a collection of essays about the Canadian solidarity movement in support of Cuba during more than 50 years. You and me against the Billionaires

Did you hear about Sheldon Adelson’s “secret summit” last week?

Last week, Adelson and other far-right billionaires gathered at a casino in Vegas to fundraise to try and stop the growing movement for Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS). Why? Because we’re racking up grassroots victories, and our opponents are running scared.

Between 2006 and 2013, at least 281 people died on the streets in British Columbia. Due to under-reporting, that number is likely much much higher. Victoria has the highest number of street deaths per capita in BC. In a four month period, 30 people died on the streets of this city.

These deaths are preventable. Not only are there tangible causes, but viable solutions. We need adequate health services, social housing, and harm reduction services. We need all levels of government to commit to eliminating poverty and preventing street deaths. See below for event info - see you there!
