Friend, amigo, amiga:
as part of an effort to create a committee in solidarity with Venezuela, I am sending you this note to see if you are interested in participating in a meeting on Saturday, May 9 with the Venezuelan Ambassador. The Ambassador will be in Victoria for a few hours and I thought it would be a propitious occasion to explore launching the formation of a local Venezuelan Solidarity Committee.
Please let me know if interested.

This is an email from our supporting group and endorsed by the CAIA Active Members Committee :
Hi friends,Last Sunday we erected the following billboard on the Pat Bay highway. Coming into Victoria from Sidney its on the left side of the highway and also facing the traffic coming into Victoria. It's the 2nd billboard on the left past Mt. Newton Cross Rd.. We have just received a call from Bob. Bob is the person who is renting us the space of our billboard. He was woken up this morning by Zionists who called him all kinds of names and accused him of being a racist and a hateful person because he allowed us to put the billboard up. They stated to him that they will contact all the media and the Band office, since the billboard it's on reserve land, to protest on our billboard. However Bob has nothing to do with our billboard. He has...

Welcome to Week 2 of Denial101x,
How often are you asked the question, “How’s the weather?” Probably quite often. It seems that we enjoy talking about the weather, don’t we? Depending upon where you are right now, it may be warming up as you enter spring, or it may be cooling as you enter winter, like we are here in Australia.

We have been progressing on the CAIA advertisement Campaign. We have completed newspaper and magazine ads.
Today some of our members put up a billboard on the Pat Bay Highway coming in from the ferries on the left. The artwork was generously donated by a professional but we are paying for the space.
If you like what we are doing and want to support us, we are accepting funds made out to Coalition Against Israeli Apartheid c/o Daniel, 601 - 2910 Cook Street, Victoria, B.C. Canada V8T 3S7.
