Dear CAIA Victoria,
I am emailing you on behalf of Canadian Friends of Sabeel. CFOS is a non-profit charitable organization that works towards a just and enduring peace for Palestinians and Israelis. We believe in and fight for Palestine and Israel co-existing in the "Holy Land," Palestinian Christians, and end to the illegal occupation, a just and enduring peace, right of return, and BDS.

The Equity and Human Rights Office at UVic is putting together an event that aims to combat discrimination and foster inclusion through multi-media art. Attached is a document including both an Event Proposal as well as an outline for Volunteer Roles. The establishment of Supervised Consumption Services (SCS) has been listed as a strategic plan priority in the City of Victoria Draft Strategic Plan 2015-2018! This is a result of the work we’ve done together to make SCS an issue to care about!
YES2SCS is looking for your support to have SCS included in the final City of Victoria Strategic Plan.

My background is in environmental sciences, environmental education and communications, and sustainable community development. Last year, we collected 'I support' photos from people and groups in our community who want to see the establishment of supervised consumption services (SCS) in Victoria. Click here to view the photos on our website.
On March 14 2015, from 12pm-2pm, we will showcase these photos at Centennial Square, close to Douglas and Pandora. Join us!
