[sea-organizing] NEXT TUESDAY: What's Up in the T'Sou-ke Hills? Info Session and Q&A

What's Up in the T'Sou-ke Hills? Info Session and Q&A
Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 6 PM – 9 PM
Juan De Fuca Library meeting room, 1759 Island Hwy, Victoria

Join Friends of the T'Sou-ke Hills Wilderness for a presentation and Q&A session on the issues, threats and visions for this beloved magnificent local forest of our region.

Following the news that the provincial government will not be pursuing an alternate route to the Malahat through the local forest, we are keen to celebrate and capitalize on this victory in the new year.

Curious about what is going on in the T'Sou-ke Hills and what's next? Too many moving pieces and details to keep track of?

We'll help make you sense of it all, probe deeper into the issues, connect the dots and then discuss ways we can come together as a community to ensure this wilderness remains intact for the sake of all beings and future generations.

This success is due to your hard work, donations and support, and is only part of the improvements we continued to see throughout 2019, such as:

  • In March, thanks to changes advocated by BCHC members, and implemented by the Ministry of Health, we learned from the Canadian Institute for Health Information that BC is one of the few provinces where wait times are going down for surgeries.
