Pro-dam political insiders are pressuring the BC Government to build Site C despite the evidence against it.
Chip in $5 to fight back with a hard-hitting radio ad exposing the truth about the megadam.
The BC Government could decide the fate of the Site C dam any day now. Powerful political insiders are pressuring the government to continue with the disastrous project -- but we’ve got a plan to fight back. [1]
If Site C goes forward, we’ll sink $10 billion into a dam we don’t need, while our schools and hospitals are crying out for funding. As if that’s not bad enough, your hydro bill will skyrocket, to subsidize below-cost power for billionaire fracking corporations. [2-4]

Trump could detain you

The Senate is about to pass a bill that would give US border guards the right to detain, interrogate and even strip-search Canadians in airports, on Canadian soil. Will you write a letter asking the Senate to scrap this dangerous bill?
Right now, the Senate is debating whether or not you can be detained and strip searched by Trump’s emboldened border guards.
Bill C-23 is sitting in the Senate. If passed, it would give US border guards extraordinary powers to search and detain Canadian citizens going through US customs, in Canadian airports.[1-2]
With Trump calling for ‘extreme vetting’ at the borders, the potential for abuse of these new powers is high. It leaves Canadians -- especially visible minorities -- extremely vulnerable to discrimination and other human rights violations.[3]

The 100 for $100 - Supporting Tiny House Warriors Blocking Kinder Morgan
On the first day of the legal hearings against Kinder Morgan's Transmountain expansion, Grand Chief Stewart Philip addressed a rally of supporters outside the courthouse. He reminded them: "The other battle is on the ground. Thousands have pledged to do what it takes to stop this pipeline...Regardless of what happens in these court proceedings, we'll be on the frontlines standing in solidarity".
The Secwepemc have been preparing for that day. As part of their strategy to block Kinder Morgan from accessing their territory, the Secwepemc are intending to build tiny homes on trailers to have the capacity and infrastructure to protect any part of the 518km of their land where Kinder Morgan...
